The Scottish National Party’s Brendan O’Hara has ousted Liberal Democrat Alan Reid from the Argyll and Bute seat in Westminster, which has been Liberal Democrat since 1987.
The result was declared at 5.40am on Friday May 8, with the SNP seeing a victory with a majority of 8,473 over the Liberal Democrats.
